Yesterday did the 5th week portion of the program.Did 150kg for 3 sets of 3 reps follow by speed sets of 120kg for 3 sets of 3 reps also. Then proceeded to do 3 sets of 5 reps each for power shrugs, stiff leg deadlifts, bent over rows, good mornings and finish off by doing underhand lat pull down. Really a good back and grip workout i must say. Am planning to be able to deadlift 180kg by the end of the program.

Just did the 8th week portion of the program. Deadlifted 175kg for 2 reps just now. Therefore in 8 weeks i have increased my deadlift by 15 kg. Next week will try for the 180kg deadlift target. These program really works man but for very siong one. My pull ups have also increased. Before doing these program i can barely squeeze out 5 measly reps but now i can do 10. Although it's not much it's still an achievement for me as I weigh around 87kg. My grip have also improved. Do give this program a try but u will have to stick with it if not it won't work.

Just want to say something, before having a proper program, i always go to the gym and practically have no idea on what to do..and i ended undertraining or overtraining..or feeling dissatisfied about my workout.
It is just when i discovered the coan/philipi program that i had the best workout week after week as i know what to do and i complete my workout feeling satisfied as i know i have completed that particular portion and looking forward to the next deadlift day a week later.
I believe that a proper program is very important whether for bodybuilders or strength athletes.(Note that i don't use the term powerlifters as i believe u are a powerlifter only if u had competed in a powerlifting meet, therefore if people ask me, i just say that i train for strength, that's it).
What i observed is that many young teens or adults alike go to the gym and practically don't know what to do. Some guys picked a 5 or 8 kg dumbbell and do chest press for god knows how many reps and that's it. I hope that they would read up on the so many bodybuilding or weightlifting training articles on the internet and gain some useful knowledge so their time at the gym would be a fruitfull one.I believe that if they had a proper knowledge about training and nutrition and have a program to follow, i would not be suprised that if they could become the next azman abdullah or halim haron.
Sorry for the long winding post, this is just my humble opinion, no offence intended to anybody.
