Hello everyone,
Thanks to the moderator and contributors for a great board. This is my first time to post.
My fiance has just started bodybuilding and she is finding it difficult to find likeminded people in Singapore. She is naturally muscular and has been a competive swimmer and is a currently a swim coach. The predominant fear amongst women at the gym of 'becoming too muscular' is not one that she shares, as she hopes to build on her naturally impressive physique.
Does anyone know of a place or maybe a training partner where she will hear words of encouragement to help her fulfill her goals of becoming bigger and more muscular, rather than comments like 'don't lift too heavy'?
Please, I am not looking for more of the negative comments about women being muscular. There are already enough of those types of comments on this board. This is a bodyBUILDING board after all.

We used to have a heavy lifter called Ironvixen around here, but she's been MIA as of late.

Hi, I am wrost than your gf. I am skinny, but I like gym very much. I hate it when the pple in the gym stare at me unfriendly when I teach my male friend the proper usage of equipments. My main point is just to prevent my friend from injury. What's wrong with that? Or is it b'cos my friend is more fatter than me? And some uncles even come and teach me which buttons to press when I was about to do that. Haha...thanks. I appreciate that. You know what? My worst nightmare was when pple look down on skinny pple like me. I'll have to explain to pple, why skinny pple have to exercise too. They always like to tell me that I over skinny like a bamboo, so why exercise? Sigh...when will they understand what is execise? ;D

Don't worry it is not how big you are. But how you perform.

Is there such serious women who are into bodybuilding, even on this forum? I meant that are women really into fitness? Even nowadays?

Why not? Abs is good. Some of my female instructors train hard to have packs.
