Haha , Glad that you know you are old I used to be very particular on food choice and time interval eating , but now , due to long period of eating junk non-stop , it became a habit . I may be old, but recently my stamina is backed to when I was in NS 10 years ago already. Gonna take $400 from SAF next month. ;D People in remote areas of the world who exercise regularly, maintain their body fat percentage and muscle mass to the 5th decade of their life. ;D

Cos its the only way then can lose all the fab ;D What's the primary logic behind high fat high protein? No logic. Forcing body into ketosis does not work well. The WBF 2nd competition prove it all.

Ketosis? The state in which the body burns protein for fuel? According to Dr Peter D'Adamo, that is supposed to be the ideal state for O blooders only. The high protein part I get, but high fat?
WBF 2nd competition? What's that?

ketones for brain, fat for other purposes.
it is in fact protein sparing if you delve into the literature.

WBF 2nd competition? What's that? I am no big fan of the bood type diet, I read his book twice and try to look at the scientific support for his theories, I cannot find much if any. You must have heard of WWF right? WBF, World Bodybuilding Federation is founded by WWF to rival IFBB almost 10 years ago. In their second and last competition, all the competiting BB must follow the high fat, near-zero carb diet to get into their best shape. In that competition only the Champion, Gary Strydom came out looking near his best (he seems to have some unfair advantage, but no one knows really what), Berry Demey came our 2nd, and was at about 80% of his best, as for the rest like Arron Baker, David Dearth all came out with flat muscles, Mike Quinn came out as fat as a pig and was there after called the mighty fat Quinn. To me it just shows that high fat, high protein, near zero carb diet cannot work. The Doctor guiding these bodybuilders is a rather famous one for bodybuilding called Dr M-something, apparently a champion powerlifter himself.

Ha ha, WWF must have been a laughing stock then! It doesn't take science to tell us that high-fat anything won't make anyone look their best! ;D

He wrote a book called 'The Anabolic Diet'. Together with Dr Squat - Frederick Hatfield and Tom Platz, they were at the forefront of WBF. Remember Vince Machon coming up with a supplement line at that time called 'ICOPRO' - Integrated Conditioning Programme? www.bodybuilding.com/fun/md67.htm

The brand's "image" was not clear. Saw the rather new brand by Slyvester Stallone named "Instone" I think it is going to flop soon too. I think the brand's image is not hardcore enough to attract weight trainers. Maybe last time when Rambo was hot, just named the brand "Rambo" people will buy.
