As long dun bench wif bbells can liao.I tink the pair everlast posted looks good but probally would get the power blocks from aibi ;D Hey Bro, I know an importer who have some stocks left for powerblock up to 45lb only, probably will be much cheaper tha Aibi. If you want, I will ask him to give you a good price on this. If you want commercial racks, check out Nautilus, Paramount and Cybex. These are the 3 types best available in Singapore. If you want home grade, Weider got some cheaper ones.

howabout this funny idea about setting weights at home for training. Howabout getting those jerry cans and fill with water? 1 cubic metre of water = 1 ton in weights. i believe a jerry can can hold at least 50l = 50kg. and everything cost at minimal prices. tigh 4 cans together across a steel pipe and woala, u got yourself a 200kg barbell.
anyone know where to buy those jerry cans?

Beach Road should have. If you lost an SAF property, you go there look for replacement. But the grip to use Jerry Can as weights may not be comfortable. I think I saw Water filled Dumbells somewhere before.

Water-filled dumbbells? Steady sia! Fill them up half-way with some really heavy liquid, and then when you use them you will to have to grip the handles like crazy!

And leave the cap open! Force you to stabilize like crazy if you don't want to spill it! ;D man, it will be a sight to see you do chinups with 2 filled jerry cans tighted to your dipping belt. If the jerrycans are filled to the brim I'm not too afraid. If they are not, can you imagine the water moving around the moment you start pulling up and down? Ha ha, I can imagine you trying to squat with 4 or 5 3/4 filled jerrycans on each side of an olympic bar! ;D

Actually I see Lok3 and Oracle (may be migrating to down under soon) both think of setting up a home gym. If we have enough people like these, we can consider polling up our fund and share to buy equipments to put at a member's home or a warehouse that allow us to set up a gym there. We can have a power rack that is as wide as captj would like it to be, all the basic benches, a set of fixed DB from 5lb to 80lb, heard of a reverse hypertension machine? (this is one of the best ham machine, yet to see it in Singapore), Cable Crossover, some Olympic bars and plates. ;D
