"Initially, I had no interest in powerlifting at all... I pulled 275lbs on my first deadlift attempt and my father was impressed." Talk about girl power. "Mariam Power: My best personal lifts in the gym are 415lb deadlift for three reps, 275lb bench press, and a 400lb squat." Mike Mahler: Wow, at what bodyweight? Mariam Power: 149lbs." I feel sick... www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mariam.htmwww.bodybuilding.com/fun/mahler3.htm

Please, we just lift for fun. No way in Hell we can compete with even the world's worst professional female weightlifter/powerlifter. The most we can hope for is to make everyone stare in awe at the number of 20kg plates we slide onto the bar for deadlifts.
