I do know where you're coming from, & wouldn't recommend whey-only for the bulking phase. My body responds negatively to carbs, & on whey-only I find that I am not losing muscle, but no considerable gains either. I am still in the PWO experimental stage & will make changes if need be alot of people thinks that protein is the most important macronutrient after workout . i beg a differ , as carbohydrate are more demanding after workout .what happened after workout ? our body glycogen became to deplete ,protein breakdown increases and muscle protein balance is negative .what happened when you take a protein drink afterworkout without carb ? amino acid will be convert into glucose to replenish msucle and liver glycogen . none of the protein/amino acid synthesis . recovery will be affected too ..we need a high gi carbo to promote a insulin release . insulin is a hormone that shuttle carbo and amino into our muscle .by doing all this , this can create a protein balance in our body which can help in repair damage tissue after workout .. now you see the important of carbo after workout ? be it bulking or cutting , carb is essential . it all about timing and type of carb using . so dun blame the carb for making you fat peace

But can I bulk without protein drinks? You can eat egg whites. Prepare beforehand & eat immediately after your work-out. How many, I don't know... Maybe someone else can answer. I still think whey is cheaper, isn't it? 1 tub for me can last up to 1.5 mths. I take 2 scoops per day, at most 3. Plus, it's convenient.

One egg while approximately 3g of protein . during bulking pharse , throwing away the egg yolk is a waste as egg yolk contain more nutrient and protein den in egg white . one to two egg yolk a day would affect much of ur cholestrol level . we need cholestrol for good health , not neccessary to avoid it .

I think it's a very gd effort. Incredible man. However, u should have weight trained while cutting. This way, u could have muscles n yet b lean.
Bulking is easier than cutting. Put ur determination into weight training n u will have a hot bod in no time.

Bulk with ur current newbie status, ull prolly be able to pack on ard 10lbs-15lbs of lean mass in the 11 weeks. During the first 3months of training, i managed to pack on abt 55lbs of mass.But i bet u, it was dirty as hell, i felt bloated and like nuts haha ;D notheless, it was no less then 33lbs of lean mass gained. worth it though i wouldnt do it again Anyway, u should cut down ur cardio to 1 or 2 times a week and start doing light cardio(walking) for that 45 min. Up ur calorical intake to alittle above maintanance level and u should be good to go.

Hi there.. Been bulking for 2 weeks and it's not easier than cutting..
you are really FULL all the time, and i mean it! sometimes you just feel like throwing up. and i thought being hungry when cutting is difficult.
and when cutting my cheat day was to eat whatever i like, in moderation of course. now guess what? my cheat day now is to eat only when i feel like, though i still stuff myself up sub-conciously.
Well 2 weeks have no much difference physically yet, but i do have strength increase.
Hope that it will be a successful bulk.

bulk as clean as possible is better for you, other wise you gonna start anotjher cutting cycle again
