I see quite alot of views on my trainign log. I am not sure what you guys see when you look at it. I'll explain whats going on here.
There are some princaples you all got to understnad about program design and Physical progress.
1. there are not alot of good exercises. Good ol' compounds are the way to do
2. you can train these exercises more than once a week (good greif Get used to that)
3. There are however differnt ways to do these exercises
4. these differnt ways use differnt resources so you can do them in the same trainign session / week
5. You must manage volume (number of sets and total weight lifted) and Intensity (% of 1Rm) . It is not possible to lift many sets of heavy weight all the time (get used to this, its a fundamental of continula progress)
Look at my 1st 4 sessions, 2 upper, 2 lower sessions, these are for building up and getting used to the training, next 4 were higher volume, more sets, this puts the body into a near overtraiinng state but no so much that I cant recover. Then the next 4 will be a phase where i increase weight and reduce volume. The next 4 (not done yet) will be to test the max strength.
Within each session, I train all the physical attributes. U will notice each session has a Strenght exericse (slow and strong), it also has a strenght speed exercise (power), it also has a balistic exericse I.e. with bands or with throwing an object, and it also has a Shock technique depth drops/drop pushups. This trains the whole spectrum of physical attribues from strength, strength speed, speed strength and explosive strength. Thats the way to get strong:)
Pls post any qns u may have.
