Happened to watch the European Gymnastic 2005 today. Seems like the body shape of the specialists of the same movement can vary quite a lot. There is a floor specialist that is very bulky and another that look very ectomorphic. Looking at the rings specalists, they seem to have very small legs hidden in the long pants. ;D

Looking at the rings specalists, they seem to have very small legs hidden in the long pants. ;D Legs do nothing for them so training them is adding extra weight to themselves, hindering them when doing those super complex manuvers ;D

Looking at the rings specalists, they seem to have very small legs hidden in the long pants. ;D Legs do nothing for them so training them is adding extra weight to themselves, hindering them when doing those super complex manuvers ;D Made sense. For the ring, the legs just swing around. For the floor specialist they do need explosive legs to jump and turn.
