the article is here. www.healthtalk.ca/weight_loss_011005_3771.phpGet More Sleep And Lose Some Weight January 10, 2005 This is the time of the year when most people start a new diet to shed unwanted holiday pounds, but researchers have found an even better way to take off those extra pounds and it isn't exercise, it's sleep. A new study released today suggests just 20 extra minutes of sleep a night could offer people a painless way to lose weight. Dr. Robert Vorona and colleagues, at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, US, looked at the total sleep time of people of normal weight, and those who were overweight or obese. The researchers found that people who were overweight got about 16 minutes less sleep per day compared with people at normal weight. The study authors also noted that night-shift work was associated with even less total sleep time. If you're thinking about sleeping the day away in order to accelerate weight loss, don't bother, because the researchers say an extra 20 minutes of sleep per night appears to be associated with lower Body Mass Index (BMI). The researcher didn't specify how much actual sleep time per night was associated lower body weight, but if you're overweight, you just might want to try getting a little more sleep to test the theory. The research is published in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

I tried out sleeping enough these few days because my girlfriend is out of town. I realised I feel full with less food= appetite control centre is functioning better. I know this claim is very unscientific. But my instinct tells me, sleeping enough is a very important factor in dieting.

Sleeping enough work big time!
I eat lesser and have much more will power to avoid junk food. I just resist Roti Prata and Snicker bar right before me, no urge to eat them at all. ;D

You are all wrong! Just STARVE. Confirm will lose fat! ;D Hey, I am doing my cutting phase now. I do 30 minutes of cardio almost daily. It seems to reduce my appetite, anyone experience it before? Definitely gonna sleep 8 solid hours daily. ;D
