Do you mean Acetyl-L-carnitine? I've seen it for sale too, but don't know whats the diff between that and normal L-carnitine...
Isn't Acetyl-L-carnitine used for like...depression and normal L-carnitine helping with burning stored fat?
I'm not sure....anything to add people?

L-carnitine does not directly burn fat, but increase the rate of fat oxidization. and that's a VERY VERY insignificant percentage. ALCAR is more for cognictive well being, e.g. something to make you feel good. ALCAR does what L-carnitine does i think. Not depression. ALCAR is a cheap addition if you get in bulk powder form..otherwise i think shouldnt bother. Also works well for a study aid, pre-workout stim when stacked with caffeine, taurine, l-tyrosine and other nootropics. www.1fast400.com for bulked powder form. that's all i know...someone correct me if i'm wrong.
