Supposing you can do pushpress 70kg 8 times when you are TIRED but instead you take like 60kg but when you try to do like 15 reps you can only acheive 8 instead;same as if you would take 70kg.I have experienced this kindda thing before.
Like my body is only willing to heft heavier weights but not willing to move light/lighte rweights

i think it is the mentality that u are tired and hence u subconsciously give shortcuts.Try to psyche urself up before every workout like imagining urself as ronnie coleman.

May depend on the ratio of white:red fibers you have.
Higher white to red ratio: higher 1rm but poorer muscular endurance.
Higher red to white ratio: lower 1rm but better muscular endurance.

I feel its more of physical fatigue holding u back instead of muscular fatigue. I had experimented it on myself for 8 wks and came to a conclusion ;D Try doing Deadlifts with rep range 10-12 rep at maximal effort and at a rep mrange of 4-6 reps at maximal effort, you will find that the latter is easier for most as higher reps to a certain extent factor in ur cardiovascular fitness ;D For ppl like Ultimate who run 5-10k regularly, that shouldnt be a limitation

Have you consider about the tempo while using lighter weight ? because usually i tried lighter weight , "unconsciously" i might have a slower eccentric as compare to heavier weight , in which the tempo somehow is higher .
