i have had enough with my weighted pullups.give them good gtg, they refuse.ok never mind, now i am going to start Kim wood style trainign with them. Kim wood is a famous stregth trainer of the cincinnati bengals, a footbal team and was well-known for his bech pressing madness and strength.he woulod bench 135 pounds as many times as he can to get 135 reps.he would do this everyday and gradually built up to 225 pounds for 225 reps everyday.he would lie on the bech until he got his reps or for his meals.other than thant he would bench and bench.soon he reached a 1 rep max of 400 pounds. i intend to do 50 pounds of weighted pullups for a total of 50 reps everyday and add on gradually.if kindness does not get them to work then sheer insanity will.i have passed the stage of fearing for my elbow injuries and neck pains, it is time for insanity to reach my goal.i tasted 40 plus before and now i want to taste it again!!!!!I am mad,mad about my goal!!!!!

sure man, once i reach 40kg again, i would gladly take snapshots and post them on this board.honestly speaking, for a man of ur size and height, 1 or 2 pullups for u is already a very impressive feat of strength.i mean, how many tall, heavy guys u see out there who can actually do a single pullup?plus the fact that u are barbell rowing 140 plus kg for reps means that ur lats are way more powerful than mine.in fact, if i were ur weight, i guess i can barely do even 1!!

Eh, give Monkey Maker a try, it's in "Performance Centre". I've been doing it for some months, two weeks ago I managed a PR of 5 32kg thumbless grip pull-ups (didn't manage to film it, drats). Would you like further motivation? I think I'll train for one rep max pull-up, normal grip. Will try for a 44 or 48kg one in a month or so, post a vidclip and then let you SWEAT. ;D

well, i am into 1 week of the madness and eating tons of food and protein to help with my insanity and recovery and all i can say is that i am loving it!my arms and lats contract harder than before and seems to be packing on some mass.just fooled around with a 35kg pullup after this 1 insane week and it just flew up for 1 nice rep.did not continue though as i knew i would not be able to put that much volume with 35kg as opposed with 22kg for mass and strength.will increase once i get more reps with 22kg.
all i can say is that the insanity is working:)good luck to u jonathan!u could become the gene rychalk of singapore in pullups!!
