Well I have been reading and training up via Weider Bodybuilding principles.. somethin u guys have prolly been doing a LONG LONG time and are like "YODAs" by now lol.
Yeah. I have become more experienced and am more relaxed as i take up bodybuilding.
Btw. Question guys.
Is it just me or is Bodybuilding like non-existent in Singapore? And weight training is not emphasized in the army nor in sports? Coz gym in my army camp is mostly empty..
Are we going to have any bodybuilding meetups and stuff?

Someone is gonna tell you Weider Principle is a joke. But trust me, Joe Weider is a hero in bodybuilding, better than Arnold. Although he did not invent all the Weider Principles, he did paid good writers to put them together. Some of the Weider training routines are quite good, simple to the point and precise. Most of the army guys don't bodybuild. They are left with little energy to go to the gym. The biggest guys in SAF are the clerks (Mindef a lot). No joke, they got some injuries, but can go to the gym. ;D

Most is an exaggeration, perhaps only a few are huge and ripped. Typically their physiques aren't any different from the SIR guys (i.e. lean and mean), but there the difference ends!

now there are alot more modern training principles as compared to the 80s where Weider dominated the scene back then. u got HIT, HST, Dante aka doggcrapp, Westside barbell etc. which can give u better results.
Bbing is alot more alive than powerlifting and strongman. Consider it a privilege to see the former (if u like bbing) sport receiving better reception from SSC and other organizations.
