yup.. standing cable crunch. 100lb-130lb with a towel. for strength and stability, t-nation.com recommend folks to do abs exercise while standing on their feet.

Talking about abs training. What do you guys think of hanging leg raise and cable crunches? Superior to Sit up and regular crunches? ;D

I dun't normally use weights for ab training since it has the same effect as to do crunches, even the regular sit-ups still give the same effect, depending on your cardio and weight. ;D

Yeah man, hanging leg raises, very difficult and tough. Janda sit-ups are just as bad. Heh, don't know why my pole vaulters get no kick from doing janda situps? But i tried and made some of them do one legged janda situps and wow, they hit the obliques real hard.

Roman Sit ups are very good to train abs.
Or Hanging leg raises, while keeping legs straight to work on abs. Coz bending ur knees just work your hips.
YEs i use weights because it gives me extra intensity to really f**k my ab muscles to pump them up.
If you want to get big and heavy, you have got to lift heavy.
