I used to train very intensive and short 2-3 sets per exercise, 3 movements per part. But today I do ten sets of ten excluding warm up, with each set near but not to failure I seems to enjoy the workout. So much that I train twice today (once in a while), to make up for the 3 weeks lay off. haha, i dont think by doing more, you can compensate for the lay off

Try laying off for 4months ;D then try 6months If stop for so long better eat less calories and protein. Otherwise, the muscle mass will decrease and metabolic rate will slow down. If continue to take so much calories, the existing fat cells will be fully stretched, then they will hyperplasia and you get increased no. of fat cells. After that, the no. of fat cells will never decrease once created but merely shrink in size. Even if the person train and diet hard to get back in shape, once not careful the fat cells will take the chance to get fill up again.

Yep....the only way to decrease the no of fat cells is to visit Thailand's doctors for lipo.

I used to be obese, so I'm still carrying the same number of fat cells except now they've all shrunken? Wah lao, I'm a potential fatso for life, AHH!!!

That's why parents shld never let their kids get obese when they are young. Set up their potential to be permanent fatty-bom-boms when they reached maturity.

Heh heh, I am careful when I lay off to eat less. My metabolic rate has slow down from 5 years ago. My appetite sensation is no longer as sensitive as before. Time to watch my diet more.
I used to be able to eat like a horse and stay lean. Try so hard and gain little weight, but not any more.

Now I add 3 aerobics session a week of jogging. Just I figureout I move about much lesser compare to last time. I also have less time to sleep. I suspect the lack of sleep made my satiety sensory less sensitive.
