I ve thought of getting a chin up bar but i dont want those that require screws or nails as my parents dotn wanna deface the door arches. I ve seen one which doesnt need screws or such; it works by extending its length so it fits the required length (that of the doorway). However I am worried that its not stable as I am using the bar for inverted exercises. Anyone used such a bar before and can give advice? Thanks!

Or it will not be tight. Better be safe, accidents may happen if the bar slips when you are training half way.

Ya agreed. I bought one from world of sports that claims to not need any screws. Came home and tried using it but found it to be not stable at all.... Lucky that when i was putting it back into the casing, it broke and i was able to exchange it for sometihng else ha
