This is a insane method
You could apply this to all your workouts.
Static contraction means maintaning the peak contraction for an extended peak from 5 - 30 secs
YOU WILL FEEL THE BURN !!!!
Lets take bench press for example:
Hold it at lockout at 2 -3 inches off your chest and hold for 30 secs , start holding at static contraction on the very last set to feel the BURN and PUMP !!!

read my response to the "y can't i get stronger" post:) this method would fall under the repetition method for gainign strength. since im quite sure i cant hold a near maximal weight at the sticking point of a lift for 30s. Its a sure nervous system overtrain if you do that, i think one could get away with that 1 time in 1 month. However a sub maximal weight you can use in this isometric training method its good for hypertropy since the total TUT is alot.
BTW the burning feeling and the pumped feeling are just good for the ego and do very little in terms of muscle growth.

it does help in muscle growth, cause musle grows under time, the longer you hold, the longer the muscle fibers tear , as a result growth of mucle

sorry bro i disagree, pump and soreness are not indicators of muscle growth, they are indicators of muscle damage as you say. The extra girth you measure for a day after is swelling due to the tears, not muscle. wait 2 days and guess what... the extra "muscle" is gone!

is not the muscle , but is soreness thats why is gone
muscle growth does not happen in a day
it takes great demand from your workout, diet and rest
