That's the result of using too many plates thus shifting the fulcrum. Ask somebody to stand on the other end of the bar for counterbalance.

Add a 20kg plate to the end of the olympic bar thats supposed to be on the floor, that should do the trick. An alternative is to find a corner of the gym, machines etc and stuff a towel into the corner. Stick te end amongst the towel.. that might take a lil adjustment but it'll stay there if you get it right..

You will need to have a T-bar set up to do it properly. I ever see people putting the empty end of the bar right at the corner of a room between the wall and floor. Dun think it work well. I believe T bar row is not a must-have-movement. If no such equipment, I will forget about it, even if there is I probably give it a miss. ;D

do barbell row, simply no choice and i know SSC gym trainers wont allow this. the fulcrum end of the bar at the wall will tear the concrete out.

one thing about doing heavy t-bar row is that the bar start off point is way too low; at near feet height and lifting it up to do rows are very taxing to the lower back.
so what i did was to load the 1st 20kg plate on the t-bar, life the bar up, then use the bench to support the bar higher up, followed by loading on more 20kg plates to your needs. i used to struggle with 5plates up, but with this method, it is a whole lot easier.

T-bar row with front support is available at yck gym. A much safer alternative for the back and u can load as many 20kg plates as u want w/o damaging ssc property.

are you supposed to put your hands together under the bar like how you put your hands together when you are praying or just put your right hand underneath your left when doing it

Gotta check it out man.. anyway, any other machines/equip that are unique to certain clubfitts only..? Any you guys have came across? For the tbar rows, the method i mentioned where you have a 20kg weight on the end of the bar on the floor won't cause you any problems.. tried and tested.. but the stares you get.. hm.. to each his own..

haiz...it is during times like these that i wish ronnie coleman were in singapore to help out.well, i guess the barbell rows will suffice.the grip wise, u can use the cable attachment for close grip pulldown for doing the T-bar row.for me i just grab the bar like as if i am holding a baseball bat kind of grip.more convenient.

By putting a 20kg plate are you lifting extra weight as well? and does the 20kg plate on the other end actually take some weight off the actual weight you put in the front? If its like that then dont want already

Kallang: Hack squat (plate loaded), pullover machine YCK: T-Bar row (w support), Seated row machine, seated calf raise machine Bishan: Lying chest flyes machine, seated hamstring curl machine So far these are the ones i can think of at the moment. Will update this once i check out a few others in the north and north west areas.
