powerlifting to bodybuilding, dont know why i recently found myself doing light weights 6-10kg for high reps instead of my usual 15kg for shoulder presses and i kindda like it maybe i will give it a try and modify my weights to lighter weights Bodybuilders here please advise my rep range

rep range for bodybuilders 8-10 rep range for powerlifters 1-3,4 choose the weights that u can perform to the expected rep range. personally, u can combo together, starting set is compound set with low reps e.g. deadlift, then followed with other exercises with higher reps ranges. e.g. barbell row, pulldown.

Personally i use 5-7kg lighter than my normal weight when i am tired to perform high reps low weight thingy is it okay for building strength still? I do not do more than 15 reps, most of the time i do not even exceed 12

At times when you are aiming for 6-8 reps and fail at 3-4 reps, is not a problem. Just make sure that do not happen every set. 6-8 reps gives very bulky muscle mass.

Practically , i uses low reps to gain muscular mass with the bodypart that i'm genetically better , such as my quad and my shoulder . i feel good with mediam range repeition now for my weakest link such as chest and back . Compare now to the pass which i used loew reps for my weakest link , i made a dramatic increase in poundage .
