Do weights and cardio 4 times a week for about 2 months.

I reduced my cardio alot recently and control my diet , now i'm stronger than before , increase my dumbbell presses for 5 kgs . Bodyfats should remain the same(As referance from the mirror) . Moral of story is , Excessive Cardio ( 4-6 times) might be overkill and may slow down metabolism due to thyroid gland issue . Try doing cardio 2-3 times , 2 days of the 3 days are interval running and the last day , try doing slow and low intensity cardio , this will prevent burn out and excessive usage of muscle glycogen due to anaerobic condition(sprinting) . During Fat losing phrase , unless you are preparing for compeition but i doubt youu are , you may not need to do carbohydrate depletes diet and also carb cycle . just remain a healthy diet regimen u can stick on for a long period . I used to think that fruit may be bad during losing fat due to it's theorical reason , but reasonable amount will not harm you during fat losing . Moderation is the key of healthy body .

Dunno if you know this roadrunner, but there is not such thing as losing fat from particular area by doing so-and-so exercise~~~ Doing abs exercise would give you abs muscles, but still covered by the layers of fats~~~

Weight training as well at other bodyparts, as more lean mass not only @ the stomach but other parts increases metabolism thus burning fat at ANYWHERE faster...

Read Pavel's Bullet Proof Abs.
Basically u need to have a low level of bodyfat and some real strength in your obliques. Use high tension techniques to build up the strength. Avoid high reps.

Please define high reps cause some people think of anything over 12 as high, not chiding you here
