what do u prefer? hard rock, punk, raps or techno songs? Any songs to get your blood pumping and your mood all fired up?
i remember one fella did mention about a gym playing teresa teng's song for the gym. i would enjoy that but it certainly will not help in the workout.

Choice of music is always a source of dispute in gym where there is a player and no gym instructor. Language, hard or soft etc.
Actually, some people argue if there should be music in the first place in a gym. People like Frank Zane and Vince Gironda will prefer no music. People like Arnold like it loud and heavy metal.
Personally I prefer no music. ;D

I prefer Aircon. I believe comfortable temperature allow us to work harder. This view has been heavily challenged. ;D

Yeah, Aircon for shiz.
Don't sweat as much, but can definitely push harder weights, hence muscles get more work done at the end of the day.
Don't really get pumped up by music. A good mix from MTV or Channel V is fine, but just to add some flavour to the atmosphere.

no aircon? but working out generates alot of body heat, without a cooler environment, a person's body temperature tend to go beyond the normal temp and this is counter-productive to a person's ability to lift. i feel that when the gym was hot (aircon broke down), i tend to get this faint spell rather often, as compared to a cool environment.

Yeah, I almost fainted before in a non-aircon gym. Wasn't even doing HIT.
Not only was it a 40 degree day, but the smell in that gym was noticable from the car park outside.
Lucky for me, a friend took me out and sent me home.
