it takes alot alot of dedications and sweat to achieve this. even so, the reward at the end of the road of bodybuilder may not be there. I used to know Ramlan, singapore middle weight champion from the 80-early 90s, very good body mass and cutting. Everyone wanted to be like him, in the end, he cant made enough to support his family and so, he hung up his profession and started his nasi padang business. Now i heard he is the boss of several outlet, his physique is totally out, spotting a pot belly but hey, he making plenty of $$$ now.

Old news:
Singaporean bodybuilders win 2 gold and 1 silver medals at the inaugural Musclemania Asia Championships 2004, presented by American Sports Network (ASN), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 9 October 2004.
(PRWEB) October 17, 2004 -- Bodybuilders Tong Chin Wee and Alan Tay have clinched gold medals for their respective weight categories, and Rano Royce Jr. has clinched a silver medal, at the inaugural Musclemania Asia Championships, presented by American Sports Network (http://www.musclemania.com), leading natural fitness competition promoter in the USA. Highlights of the competition will be featured on ESPN Star (http://www.espnstar.com), starting in January 2005, to more than 57 million households throughout Asia. This escalates the fitness and bodybuilding sport for athletes, who may be able to participate in future endorsement and advertising contracts, a lifeline for an expensive sport.

Hmm, seems like a "collection of bodyparts", to reiterate the experts.

After looking at the photos..just a word of advice to all you guys working hard out in the gym...too much workouts can result in premature aging..some of the bodybuilders in the photo are in their thirties yet they look old.. Like all things in life, moderation is the key..remember, too much exercise and not enough rest produces cortisol, a stress hormone, and too much stress results in acclerated aging. Also excessive stress(i.e. too much trg/overtrg) in turn reduces serum testosterone So guys, work hard but for every 1 hour in the gym,u will need 2 hours of extra sleep..forget abt late nights, partying n drinking if u want to have a great bod n look young!!! So remember..train well, eat well n sleep well!!

Rano Royce Jr. is like in his mid-40s. He looks fair young (you'd think hes in his 30s) if you've seen him in real life at California Fitness.

Working out in the gym is one way of relieving stress, not increasing stress, so your theory of excessive stress from working out does not seem accurate.
