I worked down from a coffee table, a bed frame and a stool until I could reach the floor. Took me three weeks of constant practice before I could do one on either leg.
Basically you need to have strong legs and abs and enough flexibilty. This is not an isolation exercise where being strong in one or two muscles is enough to pull it off.

Interesting! A change from dumbells and barbells. What are the advantages and disadvantages of Kettle bells vs. dumbells aside from the weight cannot be changed. Is there a adjustable kettlebell? ;D

Is there a adjustable kettlebell? ;D i would like to buy a kettlebell , but my house gotta one already , but i dun understand why my mum used it to warm up water . my kettle has a bell on the handle .. Kettlebells Advantages: Best equipment for KB Training Can be used for any dumbbell exercise Thick handle for training grip strength Offset weight forces one to maintain constant tension throughout the movement, with dumbbells you lose tension the moment the movement is complete Disadvantages: Not cheap None sold in Singapore at the moment Limited application for maximum strength Dumbbells Advantages: Cheaper than kettlebells Disadvantages: Can't be used safely for some important KB exercises Can't be used for some KB exercises Gets in the way as the weight increases Limited application for training maximum strength There are kettlebell handles sold online where you can fix whatever weight plates you want onto them. However do note that there some kb exercises that cannot be done safely or cannot be done with them. No kbs are sold or made in Singapore at the moment. I have a very reliable source who can help me ship in good quality bells, individually packed and epoxy coated, in SGD at $100 for 16kg, $140 for 24kg and $180 for 32kg, these are rough figures. But to get them at such a price would entail a big order. I'm doing all I can to promote kb training. IF there are enough people interested in doing it and IF there is a market for it, I can place a really HUGE order and the price of each bell will drop by least $20. You can make comparisons with bells currently sold in other countries like the US, Australia, UK, Canada etc, trust me, you will not be able to find one with prices anywhere near my estimates. And their prices DON'T include shipping overseas. If you and or anyone else are serious about getting them, email me so that I can consolidate a list. As much as I would like to order a whole bunch and have them shipped here ready to sell, to do so would be just plain stupid considering that kb training is still almost completely unknown here. And I don't have the funds to import a huge batch anyway.

Thanks for the detailed answer, Bro Jonathan.
One more question. Are there any specific application where KB can build bigger muscles than conventional DB and BB training?
